Is gold-fill the same as gold plated?
No. Gold-fill has a thick layer of gold bonded to the core (at least 5% of the weight) and does not flake. Plating is a micron or less and wears through in months.
How long does an order take?
In-stock pieces ship in two working days. Made-to-order sizes take two to three weeks. Resets take three to five weeks.
Can I order a ring in a half size?
EU sizes are whole numbers, but we can adjust by a quarter size on most bands. Ask before ordering.
Do you repair jewelry you did not make?
Usually yes for simple work: new clasps, re-setting, re-polishing. We will quote after seeing photos.
What is the returns policy?
30 days on unworn pieces in original condition. Made-to-order and engraved pieces are final sale.
Is the metal nickel-free?
Yes. Gold-fill and sterling silver, no nickel in the alloy or the posts.
Can I wear it in the shower?
Silver and gold-fill survive water, but soap dulls them and chlorine damages them. Take rings off for swimming.
Do you engrave?
Inside-ring engraving is included on rings, up to 12 characters.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, tracked. Duties are the buyer's responsibility outside the UK and EU.
